Four Demos of the Blues
of Rob Getzschman
(1999)

This four-song demo served as a launching point for a collaboration with St. Louis’ DJ Crucial, a producer better known for his hip-hop hooks than acoustic jams. After finding common ground in topical listening influences, they began working on some tracks together, the first real studio recordings Rob had made. “Four Demos of the Blues of Rob Getzschman” ended up being a proof-of-concept for Rob’s debut, Songs for the Anti-De-Counterrevolution, featuring three alternate recordings from that album and one from Rob’s second album, Eleven Coming Back.
